QTVR controller movie
Okay, spinControl:VR has been through lots of changes, code tweaks, and a complete rewrite—maybe now it’s really near to being version 1.0
Ironically, if this is the correct use of irony, it may also be at a point where it’s complete—that is, spinControl:VR by itself is at an end. Ohhhh, but I have plans, yes, plans.
Cheers!
Patrick
I recently took part in the World Wide Panorama, which has just gone “live” today—as everybody’s well aware, I’m sure!

I’ve been using QuickTime intermovie communication for a long time, having a “controller” movie pan/tilt a QTVR embedded in the same page—I created a color-customizable one, and donated it to the WWP folks, and it’s being used to control the fullscreen QTVRs on their site.
In the spirit of the World Wide Collaboration going on, I’ve made this controller freely available to anyone interested. Embed it in a Web page, and it can control just about any QTVR around. Enjoy!
(of course, controller aside, the World Wide Panorama is definitely worth a look-see)

Quicktime Parser
I have released an open source server side quicktime parser to support the Quicktime VR format in SPi-V. Currently requires PHP and Apache, but more server environments should be added sooner or later.
Display any of your (cubic, jpeg compressed) quicktime vr panoramas in SPi-V!

PS: if anyone wants to take my script and use it to enhance ptviewer’s quicktime parsing, be my guest
